# Phase F1 — Indicator framework

**Status:** Complete (v0.5.0)

## Objective

Provider-independent indicator engine with registration, typed parameters, lookback, deterministic calculation, and minimal chart overlay for one **reference SMA** (not a Pine port).

## In scope

- Indicator contract (`lib/indicators/types.ts`)
- Registry + engine + parameter validation
- Output kinds: overlay line, panel, marker (marker/panel rendering deferred)
- Reference SMA overlay on existing chart
- Tests + ADR-004 + architecture docs

## Out of scope

- Pine → TypeScript ports (F2+)
- Backtest, strategy, alerts, auth, deploy

## Verification

- `npm test`, `npm run build`
- Chart unchanged when SMA disabled
- SMA works on OANDA Live and Warehouse candle payloads
